As part of the Globeducate family of schools, we promote the shared vision to
prepare each student to become a global citizen who can shape the world.
ICS Milan serves a diverse community of students from a range of nationalities, cultures and backgrounds. We offer a broad-based education that uses English as the main language of learning and caters for a range of student abilities.
Our vision is to inspire, motivate, and challenge all students to achieve their personal best. Our mission is to provide them with a rich, creative, and well-balanced educational experience.
In the Nursery, children follow the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), a play-based framework that supports learning and development from birth to age five. This approach lays a strong foundation for inquiry, creativity, and social-emotional growth.
From Kindergarten through to Year 6, students engage with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP). As a PYP Candidate School, ICS Milan is committed to the IB philosophy of fostering internationally-minded learners through a transdisciplinary, concept-driven curriculum.
In Middle School (Years 7–9), students follow the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP). ICS Milan is an authorised IB World School for the MYP, offering a challenging and holistic curriculum that supports critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and personal development.
In High School, students progress through two key stages:
- Years 10–11: Students follow the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), gaining internationally recognised qualifications.
- Years 12–13: Students complete their learning journey with the IB Diploma Programme (DP), a rigorous and globally respected qualification that prepares them for university and beyond.
ICS Milan is also a recognised paritaria school, officially accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education. This ensures that our curriculum meets both international and national standards, with Italian language and culture thoughtfully integrated throughout the learning experience. This means that children who are fluent speakers of Italian and wish to have the option to sit the Italian Ministry of Education's examinations as part of their educational pathway are approved to do so.
Our mission is to offer an international education through the medium of English, which maintains Italian educational options and allows all students to retain and appreciate their cultural and linguistic identity as well as promote Italian culture within our curriculum. Our curriculum is designed to honour both national and international standards.
