Weekly Schedule

In ICS Milan the primary program begins in Year 1. However, the Primary School officially starts in Year 2 and finishes at the end of Year 6. The majority of lessons (80%) are taught in English covering all the subjects: language, maths, science, geography, history, art, personal, health and social education, PE and music. Children also have the opportunity to study language, literature, mathematics, geography and history in Italian.

School Day

The school day is from 8.30 am to 5.50/4 pm with a 20 minute break in the morning, and one hour at lunchtime.

Allocation of teaching hours

Teaching hours are divided into 80% in English and 20% in Italian.
