Ludum is an international school, certified by Cambridge International Examinations, the organisation that reports to Cambridge Assessment (University of Cambridge), and includes over 10,000 schools in more than 160 countries. The curriculum and objectives covered by Cambridge meet high international standards of English, mathematics and science learning.
For all other subjects, our international programme is delivered using the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), an innovative curriculum used in over 90 countries. It has a global approach that allows children to make links with the place they live as well as giving them a wider perspective on different people from different countries. It is a topic-based curriculum that involves a clear learning process as well as specific objectives for each subject, allowing children to develop a an international / global mentality whilst emphasising individual learning.
The educational structure for children between the ages of 0 and 5 complements the principles of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage), the programme used for children between the ages of 2 and 5 follows the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), an international primary curriculum designed specifically for younger children so that English is an integral part of their overall development, with a particular focus on personal, social and emotional development.
As of the 2016 / 17 academic year our school has been recognised by MIUR as a Scuola Paritaria (officially recognised school) in accordance with article 1, L. 62/2000.
