New approach
ICS Milan is the first school dedicated to students from 0 – 18 Years that offers an international curriculum enhanced by didactics that develop the fundamentals of design (Design Approach), in terms of methodology and collaborative learning. It’s a school of innovation that helps children grow into citizens of the world.
The school embraces the values inherent in Italian heritage, culture and tradition whilst promoting international learning, cultural diversity, dialogue and respect for difference. ICS Milan fosters a sense of discovery and cultural understanding via teaching methods that are designed to develop observational and research skills, critical thinking and independent learning.
International School and Italian Excellence
As Scuola Paritaria (an officially recognised school), our school also adopts the national recommendations for the curriculum issued by MIUR (the Ministry of Education). The Italian language and history programmes are designed for mother-tongue Italian speakers. A specific programme for Italian as an additional language learners is available for children of other nationalities.
The curriculum follows the educational standards set by Cambridge International Examination: 80% of the lessons are in English and our teachers and educators are native level.
Our accreditations: EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage), Cambridge Primary Programme, International Primary Curriculum (IPC), the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Program (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), curriculum issued by MIUR.
The pedagogical method of ICS
ICS Milan teaches creativity, responsibility, respect, diversity, compassion and shared values. Students are invited to develop a sound knowledge base and to reflect on and reassess their surroundings from a variety of perspectives.
Our system fosters a balanced development of different personalities. It combines the importance of rules with a sense of expressive creativity, challenge and imagination, and it also provides the necessary tools for becoming "masters" of our own abilities.
Our teaching approach stimulates each developmental and learning phase of every child by placing respect for others and ourselves at its centre. It also encourages students to develop interconnection between the different areas of knowledge.

Since 2017 ICS Milan is a proud member of the Globeducate network, which operates in more than 51 international schools in Europe, Americas and Asia. It is one of the four largest private school groups in the world with international presence, and the largest of its kind on the European continent with more than 25.000 students from over 60 different countries, and growing rapidly.
