Giorgia Masseroni is a theatre and cinema actress.
She graduated in 2013 from Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia - National Film School in Rome. She also enriched her professional training with a master's degree as a visiting student on scholarship at the Shanghai Theatre Academy and later studying with international acting coaches including Susan Batson, Cloe Xhauflaire, Ivana Chubbuck.
Her artistic journey began at a very young age with ballet and modern dance and soon after with her first theater classes. She also trained and worked as a musician and singer and she was for two years the bass guitar player of a band called Moksha with whom she played in several places all over north of Italy.
She has been working for years in the musical company "La Bohème" playing some of the main characters in the company shows.
Among her works for theatre there is "Believe your eyes" produced by Punchdrunk company from London and staged at Venice Biennale and "Freetime" directed by Pierpaolo Sepe staged in many theater spaces including Piccolo Teatro Studio Melato in Milan.
As for cinema and TV she played one of the main roles for a serie called "Women paradise 2" and she has been working in many other series for Italian broadcasts Rai and Mediaset.
She also co-starred alongside Enrico Lo verso and Maria Grazia Cucinotta in the movie "Nomi e Cognomi" and starred in the movie "Cilento" directed by Luca Gianfrancesco.
In the last years she has been working also as a teacher both in one to one lessons and in musical and theatre courses.
In 2022 she has joined the director Fabio Ilacqua in a course for young directors at the National Cinema School in Milan.
