Schemes and patterns
After learning about each chess piece, and the differences between checkmate, checkmate and stalemate, students are given or create positions and puzzles to solve on the magnetic board.
This abstraction exercise proves very useful in sharpening the ability to visualise a problem and apply possible solutions using the resources at our disposal.

I learn, I play... I have fun!
From theory to practice: teamwork skills are developed through exciting challenges against the Master. The class group challenges the Master or their classmates to find the most effective way to lead their army of pieces and/or their group of classmates to victory.

Chess and Coding
Students will be able to play on their own using the Ipad, challenge students from other locations in cooperation.
