In this club, we want to inspire our students to think and behave like scientists and engineers and engage them in STEM disciplines. We will follow the international programme CREST, a scheme of work that encourages student-led projects in the STEM framework. Students will first complete guided investigations with the aim to develop the fundamental skills that will allow them to choose their own field of work and conduct an independent project. This will be uploaded to the CREST platform and will be eligible to receive a CREST award certification.
AIM
- Students will develop their practical work skills in conducting experiments and gathering data.
- Students will develop their collaboration skills.
- Students will develop their critical and lateral thinking skills through the integration of the different STEM disciplines.
- These skills will support students with their attainment level in STEM subjects.
